Most of this work was completed during my undergraduate studies while a student at Orange Coast College, and Humboldt State University. These are the pieces I see as fundamental to the development of my aesthetic as an artist.
I can say I was very lucky to have had many great mentors in the many fields of art who helped me become the artist I am today. Thanks to their wisdom and guidance I believe to be a well rounded artist, from drawing to painting, to sculpture and digital media, learning all of these "different" disciplines helped me understand art as a whole, not as a disparate field of studies separated by studio walls and genres. This is the art I created during the process of maturation, I can now look back and see the path I took to get here clearly. I would like to thank all of those professors and peers that shared this process with me, I have not forgotten the days in sculpture or drawing at O.C.C or the days of running through the halls of H.S.U. Here's to the past and the future!
