A Peek of my recent Nude Self Portrait.
Two days ago I came across a well written article in The North Coast Journal by Jennifer Savage on The Accident Gallery’s Second Bi-annual Erotic Show aptly titled “Body Erotic.” Jennifer Savage the writer of the article analyzed my work dead on and even quoted me from a statement I posted on this blog. At the time that I posted those thoughts I wasn’t sure anyone was ever going to read it… Now I can truly say that I am taken back by the potential of these Social Networks, they have truly began to revolutionize the way in which communicate to others and to ourselves.
Here is a small piece from the article “In this case, knowing the context makes an already interesting work even more so. And by making himself the subject, Hernandez is very aware of keeping to the ideal of creating art, rather than attempting to titillate the viewer.” To read the full article Click Here.
Thank you for mentionioning my piece and for your hard work Jen.

Puff the Magic Dragon
This is a piece I designed and built with Ironside Metal Works. This was a custom gate designed for one of our clients who had always wanted a “Puff the Magic Dragon” themed gate for his property. He supplied us with the design for the dragon head and we created the scenery around it. Our clients were thrilled with it and so where we. Somewhere in the North Coast Puff is flying high. For more sweet metal work please check out

I am the lead designer for Ironside and we are working on some very exciting projects that we are close to unveiling so check out the site and stay tuned!
